The overall project spans three years, from October 2012 to September 2015. Building on the long-running Public Library Funding & Technology Access Survey, the study conducts two national surveys:

  • September-November 2013 (completed)
  • September-November 2014 (data collection completed)

Reports and data products from each survey are released the summer following data collection. For reports and analyses based on the 2013 data, please click here. In addition, the study will release the survey data collected as part of a public release file for each of the survey cycles.

Via this site, the study will allow library leaders, librarians, policymakers, and others to view data about libraries in their communities in an interactive fashion, with multiple contexts to help understand how libraries foster digital inclusion and community needs.
